Overview
Tab order defines the logical sequence in which a user navigates through interactive elements such as links, form fields, and buttons using the tab key on a keyboard. If not properly set, users may find themselves jumping sporadically around the page, making the document difficult to navigate for those relying on keyboard navigation.
Considerations
- Logical Flow: The tab order must match the logical reader order, usually following the document structure.
- Accessible Forms: The PDF forms, the tab order ensures that when a user fills out the form, they move logically from one input field to the next.
Video Demonstration
