Overview
UWEC no longer supports Canva and has switched to support Adobe Express instead. Both have layering and editing tools to create graphics, videos, posters, presentations, and more. You can convert your Canva project into an Express project to continue editing existing projects where you left off, but on a supported software.
Considerations
- Adobe Express does have an app available for windows, but UWEC supports the web version. (Even when launched form Creative Cloud it is the web version of Express that opens up, not the app version.)
Steps for how to convert a Canva project into an Express project
Below are steps to convert your already-existing Canva projects into Express projects.
- Download the Canva creation as a PDF (Print or Standard). Don't flatten it or anything.
- Go into the + button in Adobe Express. If you don't know how to access Express, here is a guide.

- Select Import from other apps

- Select Canva and drag and drop your file into the upload box.

- The file will convert to an editable file format.
