Create a project from scratch

With Adobe Express, you can create a blank project and design it however you want.

Steps for creating a project from scratch

  1. On the left side of the screen, there will be a side bar. At the top of that tool bar, there will be a blue circle with a white plus sign in it. Click on that icon.

  2. Select the desired size and type of your project (Templates, photos, videos, design assets, backgrounds, text layouts, webpage templates, or stickers) and Express will create it for you.
  3. From here, you can start editing or choose from existing templates.

Creating a project from a template

Express has thousands of templates to choose from to create your project.

Steps for creating a project from a template

  1. On the sidebar on the Adobe home page, there should be an icon labeled “Templates,” which looks like a lightning bolt inside of a rectangle, click on that.
  2. In the Explore Templates page, there will be different tabs to select different types of media. Select the type of media from the list: Templates, photos, videos, design assets, backgrounds, text layouts, webpage templates, or stickers.
  3. Apply any desired filters—make sure you are searching for a template in your desired size.
  4. When browsing for templates, they will have icons that tell you some information about the template.

  5. Click on the template that you would like to use, and hit “Customize template”
  6. From here, you can edit the template however you like.
