Azure MFA
Azure MFA is Microsoft's multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution. In some instances, UWEC users may need to use Azure MFA to access cloud services.
How to setup Azure MFA
- Install the Microsoft Authenticator app from your mobile phone's app store
- Navigate to https://setupazure.uwec.edu and sign-in with your UWEC credentials.
- Click the "Add sign-in method" button
- Click the third option, "Microsoft Authenticator"
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Use the Microsoft Authenticator app to scan the QR code
- Continue following the wizard.
