Overview:
ClipChamp is a free web-based editor for recording and editing audio and video. For video project, it’s ideal because it allows you to: record your voice, video, or screen; add music, fades, and effects; cut and combine multiple clips and export projects easily.
Considerations:
- Save often: ClipChamp autosaves but always double check before closing the application
- Use Chrome as your browser for the best experience
- There are two versions of ClipChamp: the Web-App and Desktop App
- For Windows OS users, you can download a Clipchamp desktop app
- For Mac users, there is no desktop app available, but you can still access it through a web app
- Your UWEC credentials should be used to log in
How to Access Clipchamp:
Accessing Clipchamp Through Microsoft Portal:
- Go to:
- Web-App Access (For all users) – Type in app.clipchamp.com
- Download Desktop App (Windows OS Only)
- Left click “Sign in to Clipchamp for work or school account"

- Sign in with your UWEC credentials
- On the dashboard, left click “Video Project”
How to Access ClipChamp through MyBlugold Portal:
- Go to the MyBlugold portal by typing in uwec.edu/myblugold
- Select the OneDrive icon found on the page

- Once signed into OneDrive, click on the waffle menu in the top left corner

- In the waffle menu, select ClipChamp

- Select go to new ClipChamp page (if this option appears)
- On the dashboard, left click “Video Project”
