ClipChamp: How to Create a Video Project

Overview: 

ClipChamp is a free web-based editor for recording and editing audio and video. For video project, it’s ideal because it allows you to: record your voice, video, or screen; add music, fades, and effects; cut and combine multiple clips and export projects easily.

How to Access Clipchamp:

Accessing Clipchamp Through Microsoft Portal:

  1. Go to:
    1. Web-App Access (For all users) – Type in app.clipchamp.com 
    2. Download Desktop App (Windows OS Only) 
  2. Left click “Sign in to Clipchamp for work or school account"
    On the sign in screen, click the fourth option down
  3. Sign in with your UWEC credentials 
  4. On the dashboard, left click “Video Project” 

In the ClipChamp dashboard, click the fourth option to start a new video project 

How to Access ClipChamp through MyBlugold Portal: 

  1. Go to the MyBlugold portal by typing in uwec.edu/myblugold
  2. Select the OneDrive icon found on the page
    In the Student Quick Links second row fourth column, click on the OneDrive icon
  3. Once signed into OneDrive, click on the waffle menu in the top left corner Click on the waffle icon to the left of the OneDrive logo
  4. In the waffle menu, select ClipChamp
    In the third row and third column is the ClipChamp purple icon
  5. Select go to new ClipChamp page (if this option appears)
  6. On the dashboard, left click “Video Project”
