Add requirements to your modules to turn them into interactive checklists for students. You can also control whether students must complete all requirements or just one before moving to the next module.
Requirement Types
The options you can add depend on the type of module item.
- View the item: Students must open the item.
- Mark as done: Students manually mark the item complete.
TIP: This is a great option because it creates a checklist students can manage themselves. - Contribute to the page: Students must post a reply to a non-graded discussion or add content to a page.
NOTE: Ensure students have permission to edit pages. - Submit the assignment: Students must submit an assignment, reply to a graded discussion, or complete a quiz.
NOTE: Canvas requires an actual submission; manual grading alone won’t fulfill this requirement. - Score at least: Students must earn a minimum score on a graded item.
NOTE: An extra field appears where you enter the minimum score.)
