Microsoft Copilot

The Microsoft Copilot chat service is available for all UWEC students, faculty and staff.
To access the service, visit copilot.microsoft.com in any browser and sign in with your UWEC username and password. When you sign into the service, look for the green shield indicator in the top right-hand corner of the screen. If you see this indicator, you are using the Commercial Data Protection version of the Microsoft Copilot chat service. This means any prompts and responses will not be stored or utilized for training the underlying AI system.
Please note, the Microsoft Copilot chat service is different than the Microsoft 365 Copilot chat service which integrates into Microsoft Office products like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Currently UWEC is not licensed to use the Microsoft 365 Copilot chat service.
