How to Install Fonts to Adobe Creative Suite (Like Aptos and Calibri)

Overview

Fonts like Aptos and Calibri are Microsoft fonts, so they are not automatically included in Adobe Creative Suite apps.

There are two ways to download fonts onto PC, manually or through the Microsoft Store

Download fonts manually

  1. Download the font file linked below (Select Download on the page):
    1. Microsoft Aptos Fonts
    2. Microsoft Fluent Calibri and Sitka
  2. Open the downloaded .zip file
  3. Open the desired font/.ttf file
  4. Select Install 
    1. They should automatically populate across all apps.

Download fonts through the Microsoft Store

  1. Hit Win I to open Settings
  2. Click on Personalization Fonts
  3. Click Get more fonts in Microsoft Store
  4. Navigate to the font you would like and select Get
    1. They should automatically populate across all apps.

Instructions for how to install Microsoft fonts on MacOS

  1. Download the font file linked below (Select Download on the page):
    1. Microsoft Aptos Fonts
    2. Microsoft Fluent Calibri and Sitka
  2. Allow downloads from "microsoft.com"
  3. Open the downloaded .zip file
  4. Open the font/.ttf file 
  5. Select Install
    1. They should automatically populate across all apps.
