Kaltura: Capture and macOS 26 Tahoe Compatibility Issues

Description of Known Issue

Kaltura Support states that macOS 26 (Tahoe) is not officially supported for Kaltura Capture (desktop application) due to differences in frame rates. Users who create and upload a video using Kaltura Capture are receiving a processing error. The videos are erroring out during the processing phase. Users have been unable to access and embed the video in a Canvas element using the My Media Integration found in the Rich Content Editor (RCE).

Solution

Users who have upgraded to macOS 26 (Tahoe) should use Kaltura Express (Web Capture) for recordings.
For Mac users who have created Kaltura Capture videos that cannot be embedded through the Rich Content Editor (RCE), please submit a help desk ticket that includes the error issue and the name of the Kaltura video.
