Overview
You may get an error stating "Access Denied" when attempting to access a Kaltura MediaSpace video. This message tends to occur the most when viewing a video in Canvas.
Steps to troubleshoot
If you encounter an access denied, API error, or a blank page within Canvas, please try the following:
- Refresh your page by selecting the refresh button in the browser.
- If the problem persists, clear your cookies and cache within the browser. NOTE: It is recommended to use Chrome or Firefox for the best experience.
- Close all browser windows and restart the browser.
- Log back into Canvas and navigate to the course page where the video is posted.
- If you still have issues, contact the instructor or the Help Desk to help investigate further.
