Overview
Schedule the exact date and time an e-mail is sent to another e-mail address with this option in Outlook.
Considerations
- These steps only apply to New Outlook. They may differ lightly from other versions, for example, Outlook on the web, or classic Outlook.
Schedule an e-mail to be sent
- Follow steps 1-4 of the "Outlook: How Create and Send an E-mail" guide and stop at Step 5.
- Select the dropdown the drop-down arrow labeled "More send options". Select Schedule send.

- Select the top large button to send the e-mail tomorrow at 8:00 AM. Select the bottom large button to send the e-mail in a week from today's date at 8:00 AM. Select "
Custom time" to choose you own date and time.
- 'Select a date' in the designated box by typing or use the calendar to do so. Use the arrows in the top right corner of the calendar box to scroll through different months.
- Then 'select a time' in the designated box or press the drop-down arrow towards the right to select times.
Note: The 'select a time' drop down arrow only selects times in thirty-minute increments.
- Select "Send" to send the e-mail.
