Overview
Color should enhance readability without being the sole method of conveying information.
Considerations
- Ensure strong contrast (4.5: 1 ratio) between text and background.
- Do not rely on color alone to convey meaning.
- Combine color with text labels, bolding, or symbols.
Steps
- Go to Review > Check Accessibility.
- Adjust colors using the Font Color button as needed.
- Select text and update Font Color or Shading.
- Use Design > Themes with strong contrast.
Additional Resources
- Use Accessible Font Color section in the Make Your Emails Accessible for People with Disabilities Microsoft Support Guide
