Qualtrics: Moving to New Results Dashboard

Last Updated | Permalink

Overview

As of September 30th, Qualtrics is retiring Legacy Results-Reports and is releasing a new version of Results-Reports called Results DashboardLegacy Results-Reports will become read-only on September 16, 2026 (editing will be disabled). The migration to the new Results Dashboard will take place on October 1, 2026.

What you need to do

  1. Determine the type of pages you use in the Results Tab.
    1. If you only use Question Pages: No action is required. These pages are default pages of the report that Legacy Results-Reports generates based on a corresponding question. Question pages will automatically be moved to the Results Dashboard on September 30, 2026.
    2. If you use Custom Pages: These pages are created by clicking Create Custom Page within the Results tab. These Results-Reports will not be migrated automatically (see below for workflow suggestions). You will need to migrate manually by recreating the report in the new Results Dashboard or downloading the report before September 16, 2026.

For additional information on different Page Types, please see the Question Page vs. Custom Page Migration section of the Migrating to Results Dashboard Qualtrics support guide.

Custom Pages Workflow

The following are basic guidelines for the Custom Page migration.

  1. Identify Custom Content, which includes Custom Pages or Reports with any customization (e.g., renamed pages, combined data from multiple questions, custom visualizations).
  2. If a Custom Page is identified, determine whether the reports are needed for future analysis or data retention.
Note: Course evaluation data require at least six years of data retention. Please discuss this with your Chair to determine the best approach for your department.
  3. If the Results-Report must be retained, you can do the following:
    1. Save or export your custom content by downloading individual pages or downloading the entire report. This option is best if content does not require editing.
    2. Recreate a new Custom Report in the NEW Results Dashboard.  This option is best if content requires editing. This requires you to be opted into the new version before October 1, 2026.

How to opt into Results Dashboard

To opt into the Results Dashboard, do the following:

  1. Navigate to the Results tab and select Try it now in the banner.
  2. To revert to the old version of Results-Reports, click Settings in the Results tab, then go to Themes and click Revert back.
Note: Reverting to the old version will no longer be an option after September 30, 2026.
