As of July 2026, Qualtrics survey emails sent through the email distribution system are now sent from surveys@qualtrics.uwec.edu instead of QualtricsSurveys@uwec.edu.
This change is expected and does not affect survey functionality, delivery, or recipient experience.

What does this affect?
This change applies to survey invitations and reminders sent through Qualtrics email distributions.
Who is affected?
- Faculty and staff who distribute surveys through Qualtrics email distribution.
- Individuals who receive Qualtrics survey invitations.
- Users with Outlook rules, mailbox filters, allow lists, or automated workflows based on the previous sender address.
What do I need to do?
Most users do not need to take any action. LTS took care of SPAM settings in Outlook to ensure emails sent from Qualtrics land in the recipient's Inbox. The survey experience and distribution experience are unchanged.
However, users may need to update:
- Outlook inbox rules
- Email forwarding rules
- Shared mailbox processing rules
- Other automation that references QualtricsSurveys@uwec.edu
What do I do if I notice issues?
If you were to encounter issues, do the following:
- Check junk/spam folder
- Verify that any inbox rules are not filtering messages based on the old sender address.
- Search your mailbox for messages from surveys@qualtrics.uwec.edu.
- Contact the LTS Help Desk if issues persist.
