Cisco - Setting Up Exchange Voicemail
- Press the Messages button on your phone.
- The first time you go into your voicemail, your PIN is 112233, followed by #.
- You will hear: "Welcome to Cisco Unity Connection", then follow the setup instructions as they are given to you. You will be asked to record your name and greeting and change your password. After listening to a playback of your recording, you may re-record your message if desired.
Checking Cisco Voicemail on the Phone
- Press the [MESSAGES] button.
- Enter your PIN number and press the [#] key.
- You will be provided your current status related to voice messages, new e-mail messages, and your calendar.
- The Main Menu choices will then be given.
Press [0] to use the touch tone system, or say one of the commands below:
- [2] To send a message
- [3] To Review Old Messages
- [4] Setup Options
- [5] Compose a voice message
- [6] To List meetings
- [*] Exit
- [0] Help
Checking Cisco Voicemail From Off-Campus
There are a number of options for checking your voicemail when off-campus. Directions for these three processes are listed below:
This option is available both on- and off-campus. Check your email for voicemail messages. You can listen to these messages using your computer speakers.
Dial Your Extension Directly
- Dial 715-836-XXXX.
- When voicemail starts press *
- When instructed to enter your ID, enter your six-digit extension (36-xxxx) followed by "#".
- You will be instructed to enter your PIN, followed by "#".
- You will then be able to access your messages as normal.
Teams - Setting Up Your Voicemail Greeting

To Record your voicemail greeting:
- Open Teams--> Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner, then go to Settings
- Select Calls (on the Settings sidebar)
- Go to the Manage Voicemail section and select Record a Greeting
- Or type out your greeting in the "Set up text-to-speech customized greeting option" If a recorded message is present it takes priority.
Listening to a voicemail
There will be a notification in 3 areas: Teams Activity, Calls History, and e-mail.
