Overview
An accessible email signature ensures all recipients can read and understand your contact information.
Considerations
- Use readable fonts (Arial, Verdana, Aptos).
- Minimum font size: 12 pt.
- Left-align all text.
- Avoid tables for layout.
- Use descriptive hyperlinks.
- Add alt text to logos and images.
- Alt text for images is available only in app versions of Outlook.
Steps
- Go to Settings > Account > Signatures.
- Select Add signature.
- Enter your signature text.
- Apply accessible fonts and sizes.
- Insert your email address as a hyperlink.
- Add images if needed and apply alt text.
- Name the signature and select Save.
