Overview
This article explains how to use slide titles and layouts to improve navigation and accessibility for screen reader users.
Considerations
- Every slide must have a unique, descriptive title
- Avoid vague titles like “Title (Cont.)”
- Use built-in slide layouts
- Avoid blank layouts
- Titles become headings when exported to PDF
Steps
- Go to Insert > New Slide
- Select an appropriate layout (e.g., Title and Content)
- Enter a unique slide title
- Use multiple slides instead of overcrowding content
