Considerations
- Maintain contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1
- Do not rely on color alone to convey meaning
- Use tools like Accessibility Checker or WebAIM
- Minimum font size: 18 pt
- Use sans-serif fonts (e.g., Arial, Aptos)
- Use clear, simple language
Steps
Check Color Contrast
- Go to Review > Check Accessibility
- Review contrast issues
- Use WebAIM Color Contrast Tool if needed
- Adjust colors via Home > Font Color/Shading
Adjust Theme Colors
- Windows: Design > Theme Colors
- Mac: Format > Theme Colors
- Select and modify colors as needed
Format Text
- Select text
- Go to Home tab
- Adjust font size (≥18 pt)
- Choose accessible font style
