Clipchamp: Inserting Text to a Video Project

Overview

Clipchamp is a web-based video editing platform that lets users easily create, edit, and export videos using intuitive tools, templates, and built-in media assets. Inserting text into a video project will enhance the overall experience and is a fun tool to use.

Steps

  1. To insert a text, start by opening your video project
  2. On the left side there will be a column of elements, click on "text"

  1. Find a font/style text that you want to incorporate into your video project
  2. When you find the font you like, hover over it and a purple plus button will appear. Click on that to add it to your video timeline

  1. Now it will populate in your timeline and you can edit the text to fit your video project
  2. To edit the text, click on the text box in the middle that says “Add your text here”

  1. After changing the text, you can also change the color, font, and size which is located on top of the selected text

  1. You can also drag the corner to make the text bigger, and drag the side of the text to compress the text/expand it
