Overview

This article explains how to add a document title in PowerPoint. The document title is metadata that helps identify the presentation, especially for assistive technologies.

Windows

  1. Open your PowerPoint file
  2. Select File > Info
  3. Under Properties, enter a title in the Title field
  4. Example: Digital Accessibility Overview presentation

Mac

  1. Open your PowerPoint file
  2. Select File > Properties
  3. Go to the Summary tab
  4. Enter the title in the Title field
  5. Click OK
