This guide is intended for Academic Department Assistants (ADA) to complete duties related to the course evaluation (SPOT) survey process.

How to access my SPOT survey landing page

How to access course management on the SPOT landing page

Once at the landing page, you have two ways to access your courses

1) Click the "Manage your subjects" link in the subject management tile on the left side of the screen

2) In your " My Active Tasks" list and click the start button on the right

How to opt out a course for the SPOT survey

  1. Open the UWEC SPOT landing page. Access this landing page at www.uwec.bluera.com.
  2. Find the course to opt out of in the list. Access the list of courses under the Subject Management Tile or the "My Active Task" List
  3. Click the "Start Now" button next to the course. This opens the Course Management page for that section.
  4. Review the evaluation settings dialog
  5. Click the toggle at the top of the dialog to switch it from “Yes” to “No.                   
  6. Click "Update". The dialog will collapse to a short confirmation message that the course will not be evaluated.
  7. Confirm the course shows "opt out"

How to change the opening and closing dates in the SPOT Survey

  1. Open the UWEC SPOT landing page. Access this landing page at www.uwec.bluera.com.
  2. Find the course to opt out of in the list. Access the list of courses under the Subject Management Tile or the "My Active Task" List
  3. Click the "Manage Settings" button.
  4. Choose the start and end dates of the SPOT survey by clicking on the calendar icon in the red center boxes' Click "Update". The dialog will collapse to a short confirmation message that the course will not be evaluated.
  5. Click "Update". 
  6. Note: If you do nothing with these dates, then the SPOT survey will open three weeks befor the end of the course and close the day before finals week.
