Overview
If you have created a multimedia file on your mobile device or tablet, it is easy to upload and share the multimedia (such as images or a video) to a user's My Media account using Kaltura MediaSpace Go (KMS GO) app. Videos and images can also be shared via links to email or Canvas assignments. The KMS GO application is free and available on an Android or iOS device. This guide provides information on how to download set up the KMS GO App, how to upload videos to your UWEC My Media account and how to share media.
Things to consider when using the KMS GO App
- Uploading larger video files may require a strong internet connection. If the uploading process times out, check to ensure you are on the WIFI and try again.
- Uploading process times can vary depending on internet strength.
- KMS GO allows users to create and upload videos, but it doesn't integrate with Canvas. It is not recommended to use a mobile device to upload a video submission.
- If you are using a mobile device to embed a video into a Canvas Assignment or Discussion, additional steps may be required. For the best experience, use the Chrome desktop app on a computer.
